Old Soul, New Project

Tim & Lynn Mitchell started Rebel Smell when Lynn medically retired. She needed to find a passion that would allow her to keep her mind active but not be too demanding; candle making was a perfect fit. Lynn has a service dog named Schroeder who is the inspiration behind the Rebel Smell logo.

The name Rebel Smell has nothing to do with the south...it's a play on the song title "Rebel Yell" by Billy Idol, a favorite song of Lynn's (who's proudly a punky Gen X'r.) Because Schroeder's pretty punky too, the Rebel Smell dog has a mohawk, even though he doesn't have one in real life. Tim does all the heavy lifting and Lynn does the designing and crafting. They're delighted to offer you so many ways to "smellevate" your life!

The goal of Rebel Smell is to provide you with affordable, custom scented USA-made items that can lift your mood and make your day better.
